Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
This policy explains how i9 Labs LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("i9 Labs", "we", "us"), collects and uses information when you visit this site, sign up, or use the i9Labs contractor website service and client portal. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Information you give us
- Account details: your name, your business email (which is also your login) and your password. We store passwords only as a secure hash, never in readable form.
- Business details: business name, trade, phone, email, address (and whether to hide it on your site), service area, services, customer types, hours, year founded, license number, certifications, warranties and the About text you write or choose.
- Online presence: links to your Google Business Profile, current website and social profiles.
- Brand and media: your logo, photos, and the website color palette you choose.
- Domains: if you buy a domain through us, the registrant contact details a registrar requires (name, email, phone and address).
- Your agreement: when you create your account we keep a record of what you agreed to (the version of our terms, the prices and policies shown to you, and for offers their conditions), with the date, your IP address and your browser type, as proof of the agreement.
- Messages and requests: revision requests, article flags and notes, and anything you send us by email.
2. Information collected automatically
- Server logs: like most websites, our servers record technical information such as IP address, browser type, the pages and features used, and errors, to run and secure the service.
- Cookies: we use one essential cookie to keep you signed in to your portal (and a separate one for our staff). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and this site does not run third-party tracking scripts.
- Your browser's storage: during sign-up, your browser saves your progress (never your password) so you can pick up where you left off, plus a note if you arrived from a partner such as ContractorTShirts or claimed an offer. It is cleared when your account is created, and you can clear it at any time in your browser.
3. How we use your information
- to build, host and maintain your website and portal, and to publish your business details, logo and photos on your site;
- to write and suggest content for you, such as services, an About section, color palettes and blog articles;
- to post to and keep your Google Business Profile up to date, once you give us access;
- to take payments, register domains and manage your subscription;
- to send you service emails, such as confirming your email, your preview being ready, billing and changes to these policies;
- to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems; and
- to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. AI-assisted features
Some features use AI models to draft content from the details you give us: service suggestions, your About section, color palettes from your logo, and blog articles. We run these models on servers we control. The information is used only to produce content for your website. It is not used to train AI models, and it is not sent to outside AI companies.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the service, and only what they need:
- Stripe processes your payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Our domain registrar registers domains you buy through us, using the registrant details above. Registrars may publish some details in public domain records as their rules require.
- Google: we look up your business listing and addresses you type using Google's Places service, and manage your Google Business Profile with your permission.
- Hosting, network and security providers, including Cloudflare, host and protect your website.
- Hub5 provides lead capture on your website. Messages that your site's visitors send through your contact form are delivered to you through Hub5.
- ContractorTShirts, only if you choose to import your logo from them: we send them the email you enter and a verification code (and your IP address, to prevent abuse) so they can confirm the order is yours. We never receive your other order details.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. After you cancel, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it longer for legal, tax, accounting or security reasons (for example, billing records). Backups are overwritten on a regular schedule.
7. Security
We protect your information with measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, encrypted storage of sensitive settings, private file storage and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect your account has been accessed.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view and update most of your business details in your portal. You can also ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Some information may need to be kept for the reasons in section 6. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law; contact us to use them.
9. Your website's visitors
Your website may collect information from your own customers, for example through its contact form. We process that information for you to deliver it to you and to run your site. You are responsible for how you use your customers' information.
10. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in your portal at least 30 days before it takes effect.
12. Contact
Questions or requests about your privacy: [email protected], or i9 Labs LLC, 4201 Neshaminy Blvd 108-231, Bensalem, PA 19020.
